My mom and I took the BB’s to the Riverfront. Mainly for research, partly for fun. It was a super lovely day and perfect for strolling and playing. We had a great time. First we enjoyed the carousel, then the boys played in the playscape and lastly we walked down to view the Detroit Princess River Boat. We snacked on grapes, fruit snacks and juice boxes. It really was perfect. I had absolutely no idea this area existed since I haven’t lived here in years and I was quite impressed and very delighted. It’s the perfect free-ish date (ice cream can be purchased at the café, you can rent bikes and the carousel is $1), with park benches lining the walkway and a view of Canada just across the river.
P.S. The research was to find a spot for an exercise session June 29th at 10AM to help promote I Love Your Intimates. This free event will be right by the carousel and street parking is free on Atwater between Riopelle and Rivard.
